It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our much-loved Margaret Shipley, who sadly passed away on 7th September 2026.

Margaret was a devoted and loving wife to Stuart, an incredible Mum to Mark, Andrew and Clair, and a cherished Nana and Great-Nana to Ben, Bernie, Louie, Samuel, Sophia, Sienna and Florence.

She was deeply loved by her family and will be remembered with so much love, warmth and gratitude. Her presence in our lives will be greatly missed, but the beautiful memories she created with us will remain in our hearts forever.

Margaret’s funeral service will take place at Grantham Crematorium on Tuesday 29th September at 12:30pm, followed by an opportunity to come together and celebrate her wonderful life at Belton Park Golf Club.

It is with great Sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Ward

Lisa was a laugh, stoic and smart. A book-worm with a love for words and wool, she liked time to be with herself and her hobbies. Everyone keeps referring to her as a rock, because she was always there to lend an ear without needing anyone to return the favour. It was always “don’t worry about me, I’m fine”. It’s unimaginable to think she took her own life at 53, and that she was struggling with a silent addiction. She leaves a space in the hearts of her family that can never be filled and will forever wish that she had had a chance to speak out about her internal battle.

Above all, Lisa was a selfless woman full of love for her family and friends.
