Supporting ‘Scotty’s Little Soldiers’

The military is in our DNA at Price and Son Funeral Directors Grantham, and we will be flying the flag, supporting our Armed Forces this week.

To those of us who served, who are serving at home and abroad, your community and your country salutes you.

As we’re unable to hold any social events this year, we have decided we will be donating £100 to ‘Scotty’s Little Soldiers’ who are supporting military children who have lost a military parent.

Local Funeral Director gets behind charity ball

Price and Son Funeral Directors were proud to join the great and good of Grantham at Belton Park Golf Club this week to raise money for Macmillan and children with cancer.

Jason Price Funeral director and business owner supported by donating a prize in the auction and also led the auction on the evening raising £5000 for the charities.

Jason said “I was so humbled to be asked to lead the auction on the evening, and we were proud to be a part of such a fantastic event raising so much money, there are some very generous people here in Grantham and as a local family business we will always do what we can to support”.

The fundraiser is expected to become an annual event with support for more deserving charities.

Price & Son Funeral Directors managing director Jason Price handed over a cheque for £300 to Rob Dixon for the G2E, sponsoring two shirts in the Grantham to Edinburgh cycle ride in aid of local charities.

The ride starts on July 19th, so best of luck to all the riders and support teams in their epic ride. This is the second ride of its kind, the first raising more than £10,000 for good causes.
