Passed away peacefully on 26th November at Newton House aged 80 years.

He was a much loved husband to Joyce, father to Alan and Sarah and grandfather to Eleanor and Abby.

Michael Gordon Durrands

Michael Gordon Durrands, 83, of Belton Lane Great Gonerby, passed away peacefully at home on 24th November.

Mick was a much loved husband, father, grandfather and brother, and a well-known member of the village community.He is survived by his wife Anne, children Matthew & Abi, sister Sue, and grandchildren Harry, Millie, Izzy, Maisie and Felicity.

A celebration will be held at St Sebastian‘s Church Great Gonerby at 4:15 pm on Monday 16th December. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dementia UK and Camvet.

Passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on the 21st November aged 85 years.

Reunited with her loving husband Nick, Valerie will be deeply missed by her doting children, Steven, Loraine, Sally, Nicholas & Heidi, A proud Grandma and great grandma to all her Grandchildren, Deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Peter Weatherall

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Weatherall, affectionately known as Pete, on 10th November 2024 at Boston Pilgrim Hospital.

Pete was surrounded by love, with his devoted wife Shirley (Nick) by his side. He was 85 years old.Pete will forever be cherished by his beloved wife Shirley, his sons Glenn and Simon, their partners Abby and Kate, and his treasured grandchildren Lauren, Benjie, and Erica. He also leaves behind his dear sister Yvonne, along with his extended family and countless friends whose lives he touched.

A true gentleman and a legend in every sense, Pete brought joy to those around him with his laughter, his stories, and his remarkable spirit. He was a beacon of kindness and warmth, and his memory will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.

Pete’s funeral service will be held at Grantham Crematorium on Friday, 6th December 2024, at 11:30 am. The family kindly requests no flowers, with donations, if desired, to be made to the Royal British Legion in his honour

Darcy Grace Standeven

On Saturday the 02nd November at 12 PM, 6 year old Darcy went to sleep in the arms of her mum and dad after a very quick and unforeseen Illness.

This beautiful, bright, caring, funny, amazing ray of sunshine has left a massive hole in our lives, not just her heartbroken parents but everyone who knew her.Darcy loved life and always had a sparkle in her eyes, she was never sad and adored her mum and dad, who in return, she was their absolute world.

Darcy loved rainbows, unicorns, all animals and creatures of every kind, superheroes, dinosaurs and Disney princesses. She also loved spiderman and watched them constantly with her Dad.

Darcy was a brilliant baker too.Most days she would be helping (Eating) her mum make cookies, chocolate cake and all kinds of delicious things for her tea parties.

Everyone is left in a massive void that will never be filled Our hearts will always beat your name Darcy 🌈❤️🦄To celebrate Darcy’s life, a service will be held at St Andrews Church, RAF Cranwell on Friday 22nd November 2024 at 12.30pm

Followed by a small service with close family at Grantham Crematorium 2.30pm A tea party to celebrate Darcy will be held at Cranwell Village Hall, 2.15pm onwards.
