Welcome to the Family, Alex!

A huge welcome to the family!

Alex Mytton joined us last week as a Trainee Funeral Director.

A former The King’s School pupil, and Teacher, is loving his new role.

Despite having so much to learn Alex has fully embraced the challenge ahead of him.

Welcome to the team Alex!

A new additional to our family! Welcome Lili!

Lili has been an intergral part of the growth of Price & Son Funeral directors and we are proud that she joins us on a more formal basis to further assist and guide all our families in the future “welcome to the team Lili”

“I’m so excited to join the team at Price & Son on a more formal basis. From our early days working together several years ago, it was clear that we shared a similar ethos, supporting families and serving the wider community when they need us most. It’s been a privilege to work with Jason and his team, seeing their dedication to all our clients has been inspiring and humbling. As a family business, his family supports the families we care for, but also the families of all those who make up our tight knit and professional team.”

One of our family receives an award!

We have to shout about this, huge congratulations to our very own Jo for this amazing award, Jo’s dedication and attention detail in caring for our families is incredible and we’re very proud to have her as a big part of our family business.

Proud to support Private Richard Lake, of the Prince William of Gloucester Barracks

Richard has completed a gruelling challenge of walking a marathon distance every day for 30 days, raising nearly £6,000 for charity

Richard was inspired to take up the challenge after his close family friend Simon Auckland suffered a life-changing injury in 2015 which ended his military career and permanently changed his life.

Whilst being interviewed by the Grantham Journal, Richard was quoted as saying;

“Jason, of Price & Sons, who also runs Detecting for Veterans, was integral to the challenge going ahead. Without Jason, this wouldn’t have happened and that man deserves all the credit. He’s amazing. What he does for the local community is fantastic. He’s a legend in my eyes.”

Due to army policy, they could not pay Richard for the month while he completed the challenge, so we at Price & Sons paid Richard’s wage for the month while he undertook the fund-raiser.
