Nigel Jones

Passed away on Saturday 15th June following a long illness. He was surrounded by his family who will greatly miss him.

Nigel leaves his wife, Mary, daughter Michelle, son Stephen and daughter-in-law Laura, as well as grandchildren Edward, Grace and Eliza who he adored.

His funeral will take place at Grantham Crematorium; 2:30pm on Thursday 4th July.Family flowers only please. Donations in Nigel’s memory may be sent to Price and son or left on the day and will be given to ‘Harry’s Rainbow’, a charity which supports children who have lost a parent or sibling.

Michael ‘Mick’ Leslie Sharpe

Passed peacefully at his home on the family Farm, on 6th June 2024, aged 66, with his loving family at his side.

He bravely and defiantly battled his illness, beyond expectations.

Dearly missed by Brenda, Kath, David, Jo, Helen, Nigel, Tom, Richard, Liz, Jamie, Cheryl, Liam, Jack, Louis and Ruby, his Nieces and Nephews, extended family, and many, many friends, especially those he met over the radio waves across the world, who fondly knew him as G0BUB.

Mick’s funeral will be held on Tuesday 9th July. There will be a service at Ancaster Church (NG32 3PW) at 12 midday (family flowers only, please) then drinks in his memory at Woody’s Bar & Restaurant, Woodland Waters (NG32 3RT) from around 1pm. His close family will be attending his cremation, and will then arrive at Woody’s from around 2pm.

Donations are being collected in Mick’s memory for both St Barnabas and McMillan for the excellent care they provided him.

Peacefully, Surrounded by her devoted family on the 12th June 2024 aged 92 years. Wife to Norman, The most incredible Mam to John, Philip & Lesley and loved Mam in law to Alison, Sue & John, The proudest Nana to Anna, Gemma, Ben, Kerry & Lara. Peacefully after a short illness at Lincoln County Hospital on the 6th June 2024 aged 87 years, Dearly loved and greatly missed husband to Janet, Loving Dad to Adie & Sarah, Nick & Debbie, Stephen & Clare and the Late Ian, a proud Grandad to Paul, Susannah, Lauren, Liam, Jacob, Abi, Adam, Katie, Beth & Ella.
