It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Mick Charles, a much-loved Husband, Dad, Brother, Grandad and Great Grandad, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday 5th May, his 84th birthday, after a brave battle with liver cancer.
After 62 years of love, companionship and cherished memories with his devoted Wife, he will be deeply missed by all who knew him. There is comfort in knowing he is now at peace and free from pain.
Our thoughts are with his family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.
The family would also like to express their heartfelt thanks to the wonderful teams at St Barnabas Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support and the NHS District Nurses, who cared for Mick with such compassion, dignity and kindness during a very difficult time. Donations in Mick’s memory, if desired, may be made to St Barnabas Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Support in recognition of the incredible support they provided.
Funeral service to be held on Wednesday 3rd June at 12:30pm at Grantham Crematorium.
