It is with great Sadness that we announce the passing of Lisa Ward
Lisa was a laugh, stoic and smart. A book-worm with a love for words and wool, she liked time to be with herself and her hobbies. Everyone keeps referring to her as a rock, because she was always there to lend an ear without needing anyone to return the favour. It was always “don’t worry about me, I’m fine”. It’s unimaginable to think she took her own life at 53, and that she was struggling with a silent addiction. She leaves a space in the hearts of her family that can never be filled and will forever wish that she had had a chance to speak out about her internal battle.
Above all, Lisa was a selfless woman full of love for her family and friends.
Funeral service to take place at Grantham Crematorium on Friday 11th September at 1:30pm, family flowers only please, donations in memory of Lisa are being collected for the work of Gambling with Lives and can be given on the day or via the link.
